Is there anyway I can get the current image off my skateboard to get it down to the plain wood and then put my own graphic onto it?

take a sander with about 80 or 100 grit sandpaper and move it across until the graphic is gone.I would suggest that you not spraypaint the graphic that you are going to put on it.

So really what your post was as well.
Just sand it down and spray it, if your going to spray it you just need to get the layer of varnish off it.

edit* i dont know how its gonna come out cause its still dryin up, but i think it looks kinda crappy(my fault, the stencil is not crappy) cause i added too much paint

ummm not really thats like saying you can't put six flag's logo on a project your making about six flags (i dont know that was really random)
plus they have a banner on their website that says DOWNLOAD OUR NEW STENCIL!

sand-paper it.
it sands off the coating, then the color, and you're left with "white" and if you sand more, you'll be right at the wood

you could paint it the same color as the rest of your board (spray paint that is) then just spraypaint over that
if you dont mess up it should work

Sand the board, then I don't know what type of paint you'd use for your own graphic.

THis willl sound like a stupid question; but you know that FIGHT! stencil, I wanted to cut it out, but how do I make sure that I cut curves perfectly? I can cut straight lines with a razor and a ruler, but I just dont want the spraypaint to appear "bludgy" on the deck. the faggots around my area will surely go "how come you're great, perfect deck has got a small imperfection on the curve of the G?"

Paint stripper! Slap some of that on then you can just scrape it off.

Same here. Although, I have spray-painted my decks into a solid color to make them look new again.

I'm cool. I just spray painted it over the graphic (on my old board {Popwar}).
But yeah, it broke. Sanding it down sounds good.
