man sounds like you give your bike a spongebath every night and i dont run the brakes anymore cause to cable broke and i was like watever its funner without em anyways

what about brakeless riding makes it funner? I was seriously considering going brakeless for awhile but then I realized that I'd be giving up half of my favorite tricks (fufanus, abubacas, 360 tailtaps, and pretty much having control while riding trails) not that they aren't possible without brakes. (just look at joey cobbs) anywhatever, I find it interesting that most pros that ride brakeless these days got where they are with brakes, then took them off because they were looking for something new and challenging, when now it seems that every other kid at the local skatepark is riding brakeless and can't even jump the box or peg stall or anything. please for the sake of safety put some brakes on your bike until you know what you're doing (not saying you don't trinity, I have a lot of respect for all the skilled brakeless riders out there) but please, for the sake of those of us out there who don't enjoy being taken out at the park because you dropped in at the wrong time and couldn't stop, learn some bike control, dial in some tricks and then once you feel that riding brakeless is the next step then by all means step it up and let your creative energy flow... after all that is what it's all about. progression. step by step.

Thats one big load of crap. Brakes are like the game genie. Its like a big cheat code for bikes.

haha, shut up you guys, this terriblejuan guy actually sounds like he knows what he's talking about.

i ride brakeless too, but not by choice. i can't really afford them.

I also ride w/ trinity pretty regularly and he seems to have massive bike control, he's one of the few people that i've never had a collision w/.
