We could only skate for two hours before I had to leave, and my knee was getting pretty messed up.

There was just the two of us, so ones that don't have him in it were taken by me, and vice versa. Quite a few photos were taken, but here are the reasonably good ones.

Some nice photos, black and white always makes photos look so much better for some reason.

Hahaha I was thinking about that just before. It adds SO much to skate photos. That last one is meant to be A LOT bigger but I can't be stuffed fixing it.

So very true, I was going through all my skate photos last night making them black and white, although I don't relay know how to I just desaturate them which makes them greyish.

Oh, do you have photoshop? If so, go to Image--->Mode--->Greyscale.

Then if you want to make it darker or lighter go to

Image--->Adjust--->Brightness/Contrast.

That simple!:D

Yeah, the thing is...like I mentioned in the first post: my knee was giving me hell and I was scared of high-impact landings.

But the primary problem was that on Saturday, I broke the kingpin in one of my trucks. I didn't have any good spare trucks around and couldn't be bothered bashing the old kingpin out of the truck and bashing a new one in, so I had to use the very first trucks I ever got.
Um. Put it this way. When I landed those kickflips, and looked at the trucks, they'd BENT. What the HELL. It isn't even metal, it's some other crap.
So doing tricks off TAFE drop probably wasn't a good idea.

Anyway, I'm buying a new truck tomorrow so I'll re-fit the other old one. I plan to skate TAFE drop on Saturday; I'll hopefully get some pictures for you guys.

And yes, I landed those kickflips. The far away shot...I only JUST landed that one. I didn't flick it very hard at all. Sketchiest kickflip ever.

But kickflipping TAFE drop is hard. Kyle's been skating heaps longer than me, and he couldn't kickflip it. He almost did. But nah.

And yeah: I could only skate for two hours because a) my knee was REALLY messed up, and b) I had to go to church.

And Kake: Riverslide ROCKS. I envy you, you Melbournite. I'll be there soon, never you mind. A year and a half.

Be a boss, like me, and ride Destructos. Also.. whats a TAFE? I think i'm the only one who didnt get that one..

Kickflipping that ledge is probobly hard for him because he probobly doesn't catch the board mid-air

Oh, I think TAFE is an Australia-only thing, maybe? TAFE is like...I don't even know what it stands for. It's like another form of schooling. Over here, for high school, you have years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. Year 11 and 12 are post-compulsory education, which means you don't have to go to school after you finish year ten. You can either go out and get a job, or you can go to TAFE for like....more education. It's hard to explain. I don't go to TAFE as such....I just skate it.

Ah thanks. That's odd, I thought most people on the forums would know I'm a girl by now.

I use a Kodak Easyshare Z700 (or something. I can't be bothered checking; it's a whole flight of stairs away.)

Going for a skate now.

They're just kickflips....some people seem to think the kickflip is the be-all and end-all of skating. They aren't. Once you have them, they're pretty easy. Except some days you won't be able to land ANYTHING; they suck.

But thanks anyway.
