im like 389383% sure that u don't get jigga(corners in the shot) from like a small step up ring, is there anyaway the jigga could come in like on oneside and that shiznit?

umm, its not 'jigga' its called vignetting, and yes thats the technical term, and yes you should use it so you dont sound stupid. and yes you get it with adapter rings, with cheap fisheys(anything under century) you will not be able to screw the fisheye on completely straight, it will be lopsided since the adapters threads dont go down to completely flat.

yes you will get it with any adapter but depending on how bad the vignetting is you could zoom in a couple of times

thanks casavnoa,,,,, by the way its an mx3000 raynox, and its for a 52mm jvc gr dv800u,,, and one last thing, i thought jigga was more aproriate idk y

well i had the gaynox on my vx1000 at first and the vx is 52mm, so you need a 52 to 58mm step up. zooming past the vignetting is a horrible idea, dont do it. since with lenses with out macros you cannot focus completely you will have out of focus footage. most vignetting you wont even see on tv's. tv's stretch the video to fit perfectly right, now if you have alot of vignetting then you will see it. you will see it on the computer because you see the whole video image. just like on the vx footage if youre watching it on the computer theres a black line on both sides of the image, the vx has vignetting in itself.
