nobody is punk. you can wear tight pants and a leather jacket and dress "punk" but your not a punk. punk rock was a movement both musically and politically and its been dead for 25 years. ex. people look at corre duffel (whatever his name is) as "punk" yet he is all over magazines in advertisments saying "buy my stuff look like a rebel and support some corporation". "punk" nowdays is a look not an attitude like it was in 77. todays "punks" who care more about the clothes than the ideals can talk the talk but cant walk the walk. im sure there are a few people smart "punks: out there who realize that the punk uniform is anything but rebellious. there are bands today influenced by punk but the real punk wave only lasted 185 days.

thats what they do in like middle school, dude. ive never been bashed for skating. Ive been praised for doing it by buddies from school though. Also, it seems to me only the really weird kids refer to people as a label. My non-skate buddies and I don't call them goth or anything like that, we call them weird. But the weird kids call us preps or something of the sort. its kinda ironic really.
