im not sure if i should get an X-Box cuz ive heard that if you have it on so long it messes up your tv if you dont have a newer tv so im not ure if i should get one. anyone have any problems with theirs???

I've heard a lot of rumours about X-Box. Also that when you leave them on for a few hours, they get so hot that they can burn you. I've also heard that they freeze while youre playing. But these are just rumours I heard, I don't have one. I have a Gamecube, it's very good.:)

I'd wait until the X-Box sorts out its "problems" first, like the PS2 did with the DVD feature (the very first ones could play DVDs from any region by fault, they corrected this eventually- damn)

well, i don't read a lot into x-box, i've also heard a lot of rumors about different games, remember they're just rumors, i would suggest righting an e-mail to microsoft and ask them your question.

i have an xbox-
1.it wont burn you
2.my tv is ten years old and still works fine after playing xbox
3.the only games that froze on me were demo discs, but those arent very well made either.
4.if there were any major problems, do you think microsoft would tell the truth about them?

anyway, the controller fits amazingly good in your hands, and has the most promising online plan if you have broadband. i think you should get one

Yep he's right, but I'd prefer getting a gamecube or PS2, those are the better choices I think

i aint gonna get any new consoles cause think of all the wasted time playing it, all the sk8ing times you have missed, all the money you waste on games and the console its self when you could buy loads of decks/equipment and lastly it can kinda get you fat... (no offence 2 fat ppl) cause you arnt moving around/using up energy like you do when sk8ing

I have an X-Box, and it's great! I don't think they're useless, they're a form of entertainment, plus on rainy days when you can't skate anywhere, you can use them ;)

um xbox's dont meswith your tv.. unlessyou have a projection tv. then you shouldnt get any system. cuz game systems arent supposed to be used with projectin tvs. it wil mess up your tv. bt if you hae a normal tv, non-projection, then go for it
