Authority sucks. You all know it. My local skatepark was closed because of the authorities "doing the right thing." They closed it because some asshole with no life whined about the "graffiti" on the benches. If anyone has any ideas on how to get the town to see things in a rider's point of view, let me know, cuz I don't think a petition is the best way to handle this. Peace.

Just gather up a few of ya friends and march over there and say: "OI YOU! SHUT UP AND LISTEN I WANT THAT PARK OPEN . . .NOW!!!!!"
and whao la, ya park is open again.

Thanks for the tip, but i was thinking something more subtle would work just as good and probably make us look better. If that doesn't work, we can always use your idea.

go to the council and tell them your feelings, make the benches into skateboard obstacles, graffiti is an artform and should be recognised, at our park we have this huge wall with wicked pics on it

The benches are skateboard obstacles. They're made out of cement. I think the main problem is that the dumbass little 12-year-olds think it's cool to spraypaint things like "dog shit" and onto the benches. Thats not art, thats just stupid.

I think they should just ban the kids that spray paint junk on stuff from the park, its nothing to shut down the park over, u know? there not suppost to make all the sk8ers pay for a crime someone else did. thats totally unfair.

Oh and they should get new benches for the people that cant handle a little graffiti.

Yeah, and that definently won't get you in jail for hitting who's probably a 9-year-old kid over and over and then go for some 12-year-old kid. :rolleyes: heh.

I was there when the kids were spraying shit and i tossed their can over the fence into the woods, and they ran away. I would've loved it if they stayed to have a little "chat." I hate all the little skaters who don't respect anyone who's better than them. 6th-graders are a bunch of *****s. I wish i was 3 years younger than i am so i wouldn't get in deep hit for kicking their asses.
