Ive been building ramps for about a year now and I use ultra-ply instead of skatelite coz its so expensive.. does anyone know of a way of getting it cheap or a good substitude. ultra-ply works well for my ramps and funbox, but im going to work on a spine ramp that is 16 by 27feet with sum tight trannies.... any words of wisdom out there.:-13:

Post some pics of your stuff. I don't have any advice, though.

You need ramp plans? There's some on this site.

Thanx, but i have the plans. Im asking about material. Stakelite is a professional finishing material that cost between 98 to 145 bucks. Ultraply I think is a good sub. at 12 bucks for a 4x8 1/4 in. I want to know does anyone know where or how to get skatelite cheaper or is ultraply a good avenue to travel for wear and tear.
my ramps have ultra, but i pack them up at the end of the day and put them in the garage. the next project will be 16X27ft and will of course be outside....so weather is a big factor in the decision.

use the ultra, just waterproof all the wood on your ramp at least once, do the ultra twice
