Ollieing over decks problem

See,if I ollie without no certain thing in front of me,I can ollie fine.But now when I try ollieing a deck,right when I get to it,I go to do an ollie,but for some reason I never get it.most of the time I'll stop in mid-air of right before I get to it I stop.But I know I can ollie at least as high as a deck.Do any of you have this problem or know how to help?

the reason your hitting it is because if you ollie over a crack or somthing like that, you dont have to get the hieght to make it past, just to get over it. but with a deck, you have to ollie higher than just the deck is tall, you have to have enogh speed too. just get more speed and work on your hieght and youll gte it.....
