Alright heres how this works, any experienced skater in RR (somebody who can at least do all the basics), will be paired up with a noob here in RR(somebody who cant ollie, or even kickflip) and that way, if the new skater has any questions, he can go to the experience skater for help, through Private Message, not on the actual forum.
- So if there are any experienced skater who wants to volunteer, please post here, telling us you want to join and maybe a little about your experience (years skating, maybe your age to pair you up with someone similar, etc)
-If there are any new skaters who have just joined the site, go ahead and post here, and we will hopefully have someone to pair you up with.

The experienced skater will also hopefully teach him about the site, the search button, how to spell correctly, using the stickies, etc. and in the long run help everyone out

I have already paired myself up with elementality... an if this could be stickied, it think it would help it stay alive

If people stopped flaming other people for asking about stuff like the stuff that people are flamed for, then people could ask openly in th forums without having to annoy the other guys with PMs about how they can't find the right grippiness of griptape and how they can't choose what deck to buy because they all have good graphics. Seriously, those who enjoy flaming, please stop. It messes up the forums.

heres a small guide on private messagins (aka PM) for those that dont know

1. to send a private message, first you have to go to that persons public profile. You do this by clicking on their USERNAME over their avatar and then clicking VIEW PUBLIC PROFILE.
2. In their public profile, you will find a button that says SEND PRIVATE MESSAGE.. press on that
3. There you go, dont forget to put a title

if you want to check you messages, you will usually get an email that will give you a link. or you can just click on the PRIVATE MESSAGES button on the top right corner of the website

Okay, I guess I would be considered a "noob". I have been skateboarding for about two months now and all I can really do is ollie(I ollie pretty good), shuvit, pop shuvit, manual(10 seconds is my record), nose manual(I suck at these, I can do it for about a second), and yeah, that's about it. What I need help with right now is kickflips. Like everyone else, I can only land with my back foot. My front foot just kind of falls off to the side and I can't get it on. I just started landing with one foot yesterday so I'm not expecting to get it soon, but the sooner the better. So yeah, I would be considered a noob.

I am a n00b who is really close to getting down an ollie, It would be awsome to have a big brother, ani SD skaters are preferd (skateblank might be the only one) I could go off curbs and sometimes do a rock to fakie. i just skipped through all the pages, so idk if all the people are taken, but i'm willing to help. in september 06 i'll be skating for 6 years. i can definantly do all the basics, like kickflip, heelflip, shove it flip, and all of that stuff fakie too. im still working on 360 flips tho, i got switch flips, almost switch heels, and i could go on for a long time.

i have a mojo flatbar, a box, and kicker1 and 2. i can do a few grabs off the ramps, kickflip, 180, heelflip, etc, and i can do tons of grinds on my flatbar and rail, like smiths, boardslides, lipslides, crooks, and other tech combos that i dont feel like naming.
