Anyways, the answer is no. If your so concerned about a couple of extra millimetres, then your only in the sport for competing with people. Skating is for fun. Shit, just buy some wheels, and skate.

the reason people think that wheels affect your ollie is because they think that with bigger wheels, you are further off the ground giving yourself more pop. a normal wheel is 54mm. a large wheel is 60mm. that 6mm wont increase ur ollie too much

Yeah, and 54 isn't that big. If you have low trucks you might want to get risers or just tighten them.
