Could someone explain to me what I'm looking for when it comes to wheels. Such as pros and cons, what makes them good, what makes them bad. Do sizes really matter much, etc. etc. Maybe list some brands?

i just go with blank ones because there is no difference (well the ones at my local shop are hard and nice...that sounded wrong). With spitfire they're the same as blanks but with the snazzy spitfire logo.

Actually, Ricta and Darkstar(Though Darkstar splits open) have those dual pieces of urethane. It supposedly relieves pressure on bearings when you land.

i usually dont have this view on things, but when it comes to wheels.. "wheels are wheels" is pretty true.
i mean.. ive ridden lots of kinds. from straight up wheel companies to ones from companies who i really dont like, and whos boards suck (i.e. mystery). but.. only once in a while to i really notice a difference.
for example, i had some fillmores that were crappy. they got all beat up. but besides a few, everything has seemed the same.
id go with blanks though, cause theyre totally cheaper but its the same thing. and graphics REALLY dont matter.

Bigger, softer wheels are usually used for vert, and they go fast. Smaller and harder wheels go slower, but they're lighter so they are good for street tricks.
Spitfire & Ricta are awesome.

I got some www.blankdecks.com wheels and they're great. I recommend big wheels because you go faster and they barely effect street tricks if at all. Just not too big or you'll get wheelbite.

i like spitfya's and bones. i have a set of bones right now, and they are really good. i usually stick with spitfire, but im probably gonna get a pair of bones next. i wanna try ricta's but everyone says they are bad, or my friends do.

i got some blank wheel, but i found that they never fit the Bearings just right on one of the side's of the wheel, they always slide right out with no force

Any normal bearings and wheels have to be able to fit right. If they slide out then you aren't tightening the bolt for the wheel at all.

well on one side of the wheel, on all 4 the bearings slip right in, and if turned around it would slip right out, basicly on one side is bigger then what it should be on all wheels when buying blanks
