DAMN blades are easy!

my freind took up blading and was contemplating dropping the 4ft at my local park and hed been looking down for like an hour so i just went "look if you drop it ill put your blades on and drop it,and i havent had a pair on since i was like seven" so eventually he drops it,gives me the blades and i just rolled straight in without thinking,it was too easy! any of you guys agree?

i havent bladed in so long it is pretty fun though i used to blade a little and yeah it was easy pop a little stall and 180 indy out fun times fun times........

I think it's stupid how people say blading is easy. OK, so putting on a pair of blades and skating around and jumping is fairly straightforward compared to our ollies. But in blading the harder trick are just as hard as hard skateboarding moves. eg, Tony Hawks has the 900 on a skateboard, pretty hard yes? Some rollerblader has triple backflipped on a vert. Another blader (one of the Yasutokos I belive) has backflip-180-backflipped on a vert.
So to conclude, sports are only easy / hard depending on how good at it you want to be. So don't dis the bladers!

my friend aggresive inlines and he is sick he does handrails and shiz.. and i tried them on once and was having troubly doing a low rail just a farfegnugen.... its harder than it seems.....

Rollerblading is easier to drop in on larger ramps ans shit like that. Its easier to get onto a rail to grind as well. As Rankz said a simple 50-50 down a 9 stair isn't the same a soul grind down the same set. You got to pull bigger stuff, i mean like one trick on a rail is sufficent on a skateboard while on a blades you got to combos like your playing Tony Hawk.

Both skating and Rollerblading have other advatages. When Skating its easy to get off your board go inot a shop, walk up and down stair while its a huge ass pain on skates(thats why i stopped). All in all for me skating was more of a challenge because you can do on flat land while skating you need a ramp or a rail. So skating wins :-2:
