i have a small question about sound files

is there any way to get the sound out of a video? being left with just the music or wtv other sounds, .... maybe theres a program i can get for free
Also are there any good sound editing programs out there for free?

ummm in video editing programs you can take out the sound..... and if you dont have one wmm can do it... what are you trying to do????

im trying to get the sound effect that a skateboard makes when you do an ollie, but i cant find it anywhere so i just guessed id get it out of a vid...

i dont think wmm can do it, since it just stays in the vid. I know vegas can do it

try and find a sound clip on a website "google" it. and there is also a sticky, SOUND EFFECTS/SAMPLES/LOOPS look in there. those site should be pretty good.
