Do you think that Tony's or Bob's tricks were better than Pierre Luc's?

No Pierre rules!
The best trick all around the x games this year was in the Dirt Biking. The godfather pulled of 2 consecutive backflips.

us (America) is on it's last day of X-games. yea, Hawk was in it, and the doubles were awesome, too! board transfer and Mac Donald kept his board, went to the other side, and switched boards again! but, Bob and Bucky almost beat Tony and Andy.

So what was the best trick?

I think every sport had a major breakthrough this year...
Inline Vert - Double backflip 180...
Inline street - uh..did that even start yet?
Boarding street - haven't seen it..
Boarding vert - Everything...
Moto X - The 2 backflips..
BMX Street- 360 Double tailwhip (SICK!), Tailwhip backflip (CRAZY!), and about everything else..
I think so far, the event with the biggest breakthroughs, would have to be BMX street in my opinion. In vert..my favorite was that kickflip to indy, fingerflip...looked sweet!

Moto x double backflip. That must be the most insane trick to ever try. Crazy. 360 double tailwhip bmx thats insane aswell. If i was a bmxer trying that id get dizzy and fall off mid air lol.

The 2 backflips were pretty crazy...but like I said, my favorite was the 360 double tailwhip..because when was the last time you've seen someone do a normal double tailwhip, let alone one with a 360 degree rotation thrown in? Rollerblading, as most people know I am into, so that double backflip 180 was sick in my mind, but I think the BMX, boarding, and Moto X caught my eye.

Jay miron does double tailwhips all the time.In vert and street. Hes amazing at tailwhip variations. His best though is his 540 tailwhip...thats why they call him the Canadian beast!

I've only seen a little of the X Games. The coolest stuff I saw was Mat Hoffman's 900 No Hander, and the Moto X Backflip to backflip.

Tony did a 360 varial 540 spin and a fakie to fakie 540. Pierre Luc did heelflip McTwist. Bob did a gay twist heelflip. it was all pretty history making, progressing skateboarding, especially vert skating, a lot.

i think the only reason that tony didn't win best trick was because he pulled the trick after time had already ran out...but that definetly was a sick trick.
i think pierre luc deserved to win though because his trick was really awesome...what was it again? like a 540 half-cab heelflip?
but i think that the highlight this year at the x-games was moto x. a back-flip on a 240 pound dirt bike...that's insane!:D

As a few of you may have known, I have considered joining the ASA Am. tour (like in a year or two)..which is, yes...blading. Anyways, after seeing the X-games, I began to change my mind. I wouldn't be skating vert, but still, triple backflips...that's a tough thing to live up to. It's only a short while before double backflips are common.
Moto X rocked, but I don't want to see that many more backflips. Why? Because now, if someone throws a backflip, they place in the top 5, at least. That means all of the other tricks now seem useless...so it's going to turn into an all-backflip competition, I think that'd be boring. Don't get me wrong, backflips are sweet, but the judges shouldn't give as much points for them- if they've done them a million times before in their previous runs.

Woohoo....go Gagnon won it by far....and he comes from where I live (montreal).....I just wonder out how it feels to beat Tony Hawk on a best trick comp!

Mrock

I saw like a double Judo 540 or something..but not a 540 christ air...I might have missed it.

That is so awesome that backflip to no hander lander, he almost landed it clean, oh and Hawk whipped burnquist and Pierre, even the christ air 540. But isn't it called a body jar tailstall or something.

it'a a 45 minute event, they don't show all of it on TV. but it has a few names, just lik 360 flip, aka tre flip, 3 flip, etc
