Sony handy Cam to computer??

I have a sony handycam and one of those hauppage unit things for my comp, can I convert it from the camera so its a file on my computer?

um what is its format.. does it say h8 or mini dv on the tapes

no, just the cables you plug into ur T.v (red and white and yellow) but I got some hauppage unit thing that I think reads that :-9:

well you put in that unit and hook that up to the computer and that maks it upload you jyst need the cable... right
