Hey, Today my mum went into a skate shop and got priceings on some trucks. This is what i got back:

GM - $46.20 (AUS) = $69.30 (US)
Element - $89.90 (AUS) = $67.40 (US)
Tensor - $109.90 (AUS) = $82.40 (US)
Royal - $99.90 (AUS) = $75.00 (US)
Krux - $79.90 (AUS) = $60.00 (US)

So those are the trucks. Prices are for 2 trucks.
This took me alot of work with the exchange rates and all so some feedback would be great. Im thinking the GM to get my set up started and then add get the Krux Trucks.

Where you come in is Do you think these are good prices or am I getting ripped off?

Thanks in Advance

well mate, element, tensor and royal trucks are rubbish and will break FAST, but the GM's and krux are a good choice. I dont know how you can gt krux for 80 bucks, thats a mad arse price, and I'd suggest getting them forst. forget the GM's. they're good, but why would you bother getting them when ur gonna replace them with krux 2 weeks later? get krux in the first place. and krux are better anyway.

PS your conversion is wrong for the gm's, the US price is LESS than the Au price :-P it doesnt matter though, coz ur getting the krux right?

cool man. They arent even that much. Sweetness. I just wanted to make sure that they're good. So is the way to go: Go with the brand that speciallises in one category??

umm, vyeah, whatever mate. krux are good. outsold Independents last year (dont get Independents unless you're GOOD, I made that mistake, and the krux helpd me fix the problem) element is really, too wide a brand, so yeah, go with the specialists. royals use WEAK metal, but sell for $109 simply because they are used by sum pros (who need a new set after each competition) tensors are made by the same company as world industries and blind. hence, they suck (but the blind tech deck was nice?) krux are made by NHS, the same organisation that makes independent trucks and Santa Cuz skateboards. hence, they are good. (its a different factory to independent and Santa Cruz skateboards, and diff ppl running the labels, so it aint like element where 5 ppl run everything) krux krux krux!
