Hello everyone. I used to skate but i quit a few years ago (had to upgrade to a new set of 4 wheels: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2157256).
Anyway, I've got my skateboard that is in pretty good condition. I would LIKE to pass it on to a new skater but need to know a few things first. First off, I want to know what the name of my deck is. It was a World Industries Deck with this logo : http://perso.orange.fr/thesk8rider/Skate/Logos/World%20Industries/wi39.jpg. Also, how can i clean my wheels? I've heared it is OK to put them threw a dishwasher but i dont know for sure (they are urethane BTW). Lastly, what kind of stuff can i lube my bearings(sp) with? Is silicone ok? I'm pretty sure this is all basic information, in just don't remember any of it anymore.
Thanks alot!

veriflex is a shitty department store brand now. the kind youd find at walmart or kb toys or something.
way back in the day, it was a real company.

.......What?
the other guy didnt understand threads.. i was answering his question.
to answer yours.. you dont need to know the name of the deck, as long as you know its world industries. world industries is one of the worst on the market, though.
wheels.. it doesnt really matter how you clean them. soapy water or whatever.
bearings.. if theyre old, get new ones. if not, its best to use bearing lube. it doesnt have to be from a skate company, but anything thats meant to lube bearings. stay away from wd40 though, cause it eats away at them.

Yeah I made the WD-40 mistake a while back, and learned my lesson.
Sometimes a good thing for bearings is to just ride the dirt out, because sometimes you can push the grit in farther and stuff it for life.
Yeah, WI is very, very bad. Horrible shape, and very heavy. If you're selling it, sell it cheap. Don't go ripping anyone, ha.
Wheels...yeah, it really doesn't matter. Maybe bleach if you're desperate.

I just ended up listing it for 25 bucks. I think thats a pretty fair price. I never really abused the thing.

It'll sell:) Hey, the price might even go up if you didn't stick it on Buy It Now.

Seriosley? Should i raise the BIN?

No, take it away altogether. That way, the price will go up--especially towards the end of the auction. Some sucker is gonna want it.

I figured since i already wasted the 10 cents on listing with it i myswell just put it at 100. You dont think it will get bid higher than 100 do you?

(sp) usually means that i know i spelled it wrong. Spelling=(sp)

Or it means you THINK you spelled it wrong, or aren't sure. Whatever.
Yeah no sane person would buy that for $100.....be sick if they would, though.

I never put my wheels in a dishwasher, but I think it wouldn't harm them.. Just use water + soap...And for your bearings. http://www.skates.com/skate_bearing_lube_s/51.htm
I have never tried those 'drop in bearings and shake' things..

Ehh its already put together. Those bearings were a bitch to put back in so they aren't coming out.
Its got alot of views, but only one watcher. Hopefully its one of those things that just gets bid up our of nowhere. I need the $$ for my ride.

Well it only sold for 25 bucks. Kinda disapointing my good ole skateboard went for that cheap..
