Aight, i heard many ppl spraining their ankles, just need some facts about it, if u know
Have u sprained ur ankle before? if u have then:
1. What did u do to sprain it?
2. Is it all swollen (the ankle)
3. What did u use to help it go away
4. If u made a full recovery, how long did it take u
My ankle is ok, but bad for kickflips, varial flips, and 3 flips cuz i cant really twitch it, and it still kind of swollen after 1 and a half...
:( maaaquack

ive sprained my akles many times....
um the most recent one (last week) was only a minor sprain... so heres the answeres to ur questions.
1. skating ( i was doin kickflips off this ledge and the board landed in primo and only my toe landed on it, making my toes touch my shin)
2. yeah, the worse the sprain, the more swelling, so this one wasnt very swollen, but a little
3. put it in hot water (just your ankle) for 15 - 20 min. then right after u take it out, ice it for a half hour. repeat this 2 - 3 times a day till its better... also, stay off it. sit around all day, it will heal alot quicker.
4. this sprain tokk about a week and a half to cure but some sprains can not cure for up to 2 months.
if u need more help, PM me or IM me at boarder23423

Ok, this wasn't too bad, but I was doing a varial flip off of a 3 set, and when i landed the front foot was on my board but my back foot twisted around so my front foot went and it dragged my back foot and i felt this crack and so i was out for about 2 weeks, but I put ice on it and it stopped the swelling, so for the 2 weeks i worked on my shuvits, so i wasn't out completely.

the only ankle I've ever rolled is my right...and I can't feel my right ankle, and it's been swollen for...5 years now due to an accident at Target, and so I couldn't really tell you if it was swollen or not, but I can tell you to follow what boarder said, and the next time you go skating to find a pretty good ankle brace and to wear it...for like the next year. It just gives your ankle more support and helps prevent you from rolling it again...
