is it just me? or do the majority of "gangster skaters" at skateparks all wear Es or Nike shoes? and there seems to be more and more Gangster types skating now, I remember a while ago I didnt see any of them at a skatepark...it was all people with longer hair and t-shirts and pants where the crotch didnt hang past there knees and the hats that are so big they could be used as Indian cooking bowls. I dont have a problem with this particularly....but these guys are the types that are "chavs" around here,,,,and it seems more and more of them are starting to appear at my skatepark....anyone else having this to where they skate??

I had a pair of es' and im not gangsta or anything, I have seen this in skating though. It doesn't really bother me, but some people get really annoyed. Just ignore it it's probably a phase of skateboarding.

How are tight pants faggy? I wear kr3w, and in my opinion easier to skate in because the less baggy the pants are the less you have to carry around, and overall i'd rather wear those.

I find more gangster types (atleast here in Canada) have DC shoes.

I have worn primarily eS in my life, and Im pretty far from being a gangster.

^ im 32 years old, I am not a "wigger" or anything else. I wear comfortable clothes and pay NO attention to fashion, trends or style personally. I have been dressing the same way for 20 years. if you knew anything about me, you would shut up now before you make an ass out of yourself.

I have seen fashion trends come and go in skating, tight pants are just another trend, When you see pics of yourself in 5 years in your spandex pants you will say, "what the **** was I thinking?"

Wearing tight pants, dressing "gangsta" or punk or whatever is for little kids and fashion monkeys, I am neither. Just an oldschool G

And the thing is, if he came on the forums and was a really cool guy...I'd probably be stoked to buy some of his product..ya know help the guy's company out with more fans.

But he's definitely not doing a good job, promoting his product (with the link in his signature) by making a post calling half the people on this forum a fag. (I'd be pretty sure half maybe more dont wear overly baggy jeans)

I'm not here to flame anyone, and I haven't tried to. The fact of the matter is you should know better then anyone that relationships mean a lot. I never said you would have to close down shop, I never suggested we would be a significant part of your business. I was mainly pointing out that coming on here and calling potential customer's "fags" won't help you at all.

Im not saying anyone here would even buy a deck from you after one post, but assuming other members got to know you over a long period of time and knew you as a cool guy, they might be stoked to buy your product, and in a way feel as if they have a "friend" in the skateboard industry.

But what do I know...

He doesent need your help buying his product. Majority of this forum has already grabbed his decks. Considering you have a blind deck, you might want to get a nice new one soon.

So like I said, drop it.

Ok, well obviously I am new here, and was unaware of how many people already purchased your product. Again I wasn't trying to flame or insult anyone like you just did in your previous post. I dont know why you are getting defensive and calling me an idiot now. Pretty much everything I said in my post makes sense.

kr3ws suck. but baggy pants suck toskate in

ww.angryyoungandpoor.com has some tight jeans, but i think the prices are ridiculous

That was a fun read, personally i dont like to stereotype people. I like to get to know them. I've seen tight paants dudes in es, ive seen baggy pants people in fallens. Personally i like medium pants on the tight side. But i dont want my penis getting suffocated to the point where he backs up his balls and moves out.

Chav skaters are oxymoron.

It's because those are relaxed companies not gnarly bals oot companies which is why the more relaxed skaters go for it. I skate Ipath because it's a relaxed company and the majority of people who skate Ipath are relaxed skaters rather than tight pant skaters.

I like to wear baggy clothes when I skate. I listen to alot of rap but I dont act like im black. I like the music gets me pumped up and I find its easier to skate in baggy clothes.

With the nikes I think its because some of there shoes look like basketball shoes.

I wear somewhat baggy pants, 32 waist I wear 34 pants or something like that , and in Canada I haven't seen that many gangsters that skate, it is mostly people with long hair , T-shirts and medium or tight pants. In fact, my friends and I know a kid we skate with , and we knew him as "The Hippie" before "Steve" , because he looked like a hippy discovering skating.

I wear both. Sometimes, I wear my baggy pants, but sometimes, I wear some cheap tight pants. Buying $50 Kr3w pants is stupid. You can buy the same thing for $10 if you buy a cheaper brand.

Yeah, it's not like people will walk up to you look at the tag on the pants to see waht brand it is. Where do you guys get some cheap tight pants? I don't want them too tight, just regular on the tight side. Like semi-tight. All I have seen are like Kr3w and stuff. And they are a waste of money.

Welll i just got a pair of Es Standards green the other day and the shocks in those shoes are great. I can see why people like them. Now about gangster and tight pants. I normally wear strait leg pants on slighty loose(i got a pair of those tight pants yesterday to give them a try). The thing with baggy pants is that they are hard to move in. I have seen Koston do a kickflip into a noseslide wearing the baggiest pants ever, but thats why he is a pro.

I'm saying that denim weighs a shit load and the more of it you have the harder it is to jump. NOw baggy clothes are usually over size so you need a belt and its not always going to fit right(ther are some expetions) for the most part.

In theory if the pants weighed nothing you would be correct Shep.

i can't stand people that wear tight jeans, i mean im sure they're an interesting person. But in a few years they'll look back and think 'christ why did i look such a dick?'. I mean you cant tell me that shin hugging jeans look good, it just makes you look like a tit. Especially when the majority are just copying corey duffel (sp?). And don't get me started on girls jeans.... they're just be some very concerned parents out there.

im not taking a side in this pants battle, but a lot of people for baggy pants fail to realize that these tight pants are stretch. stretch, actually, is less constricting than baggy pants that dont stretch. i know a few guys here who tried on some of the AR jeans and stuff when we got them, who wore baggy pants before.. and now they wear AR jeans and stuff. in bigger sizes up though so theyre not TIGHT, but you get my point. my friend alex used to wear gangsta pants.. but now he skates in his AR jeans. i asked him about it, and hes said its just so much easier to move in them. same thing with pat, my 28 year old friend who owns the shop. but like i said, they also wear them a size or two up so theyre not actually tight. and the ellington jeans or something (im not sure) are regular slim fit, not super slim fit, so its more of a normalish jean thats stretch.

ANYWAY, my point is.. stretch is good. tight or not. and only a total idiot would wear non-stretch tight pants. that would be damn stupid.

But for the most part kids who wear really tight pants where a studded belt to look even more "punk", jeans do NOT way a hell of a lot, i have no problem skating in loose clothes or tight clothes.

I really do have a problem skating in baggy pants. It may be because i don't weigh much and that every pound make a bigger differance to me than to you. Plus i find the slightly loose pants more confortable and easy to move in.

fight has a point. tight pants are kinda faggy. your balls can't breath. plus whats wrong with gangstas skating, in a way hip-hop and skating has a lot in common. there both about doin yo own thing, and being good at it. personaly i dress in whatevers comfortable. but as far as shoes go i'm rockin adios.

Do you wear tight pants? I wear regular fit jeans and Supra and almost everyone loves me... Are you nice to the gangsta's or do you hate them? Because if you're nice to the gangsta's they're usually nice back, but sometimes the tight pants dudes are all like "Why are your jeans so baggy you fag?" and they have those annoying nasal-y voices....But some of them are nice.

Also i think that Shadow2kx should leave Fight alone. In addition to that one time i seen this little 12 year old white kid at my skate park. He was wearing a white t-shirt that was like a 5 xl. Which really makes me mad about how rap has influced alot of younger people. Fight is one of the nicest old school skaters on these forums and i respect him alot. Im on your side fight!
