Anybody here ever skate downtown Toronto?

I'm going to skate downtown Toronto for my first time tommorow, and I was wondering if any Toronto people here knew any good spots, the only places I really know of right now are near the CBC building and accross the street at the theatre in and around there as well.

I've never actually skated downtown Toronto (as previously mentioned) so any heads up on how bad the security gaurds are would be nice too.

Sweet you're coming down to Hog Town, there are a lot of good spots, dowtown haven't been skating down town in such a long time. You should go to Cummer skate park. Also sweet skate spot at Skydome ( Rogers Center). A lot of my friends from other schools go to Islington Station ( since it's so closed to their school ECI I was suppose to go to that school) and skate lots of waxed curbs by there. Probably the best is TD Centre have fun in Hog Town.

I live right near T.O... and at most spots u get booted off b4 u even put your deck down...but theres a neat spot..its in some skate Vids...its a bank with a Ledge to grind..its across from the sky dome....Also beside the sky dome..is like a Big pit..but its smooth interlock and theres sets everywhere and you wont get kicked out,,,but the black guys might laugh at you if you fall...

theres also a spot down by the convention center,,,its like a small park (not a skate park) and its got marble ledges and shit like that. But alotta the Places there u try to skate (like building entrances) security will give ya the heave ho without u even putting your deck down.

But theres good skate spots around every corner man, its the biggest city in Canada I think youll be just fin :-3:

and have fun skating man, o and dont give money to the Bums,, they'll attack you if u give them to little

Yeah I've been to downtown Toronto everyday for a year and a half (I went to College there) so I know what is like, and I've walked around everywhere enough to know it well, up by Eatons center, I have just never skated there. (College never gave me time to).

But yeah that place with the marble ledges accross from the convention center is actually the entrance to the CBC bulding (and my school) maybe if I show them my old Student ID they will let me skate.

I give moneyt to homeless people some times about a month ago I gave soem homeless dude $2, they are really nice if you give them money. Or if you just treat them like a human bean like not just walk away from them and not even acknowldge they get pissed. If they ask you for money just say sorry I'm low on cash, or if they want a smoke say I only have a coupel smokes left sorry. I liek giving my spare change to them butthe onyl problem is that if they just go spend it on drugs and not food I get pissed.
