i wanted to get my ears pierced and after how long you have to wait to change earrings i want to get hoops but my dad wont let me get them do you know any ways i can convince him to let me get it done. i have the money to buy the rings casue the piercing is free.

6 weeks to change earrings. Or else the hole is too small and it could get infected. Get a tat instead though. Earrings aren't as awesome as tats.

you CAN get hoops right away, just a small guage. and got to a pro, not the booth at the mall.

Nah dude, you read it wrong. I said they get it for attention, and the GIRLS say its faggy. And me, listening to the girls think that if you pierce your ears, will probably end up getting guys. So basically piercing your ears just ****s you over.

A tip for all you wanna-be guagers out there: go slow. If you don't, you can rip your earlobe. The largest you should pierce it at is about a 14g, unless you're doing a dermal punch, which shouldn't be a consideration for the average, casual person interested in guages. Dermal punches are permanent, considering they take a chunk of tissue out. Besides, dermal punchs are usually reserved for people who wanted a larger-guage hole in their cartilage; you cannot stretch-guage cartilage.

Also, once you are past about a 2g, it won't grow back fully. It'll heal up some, if not a lot, depending on the person. BMEZine says that the point of no return is 0g; however, I have never seen anything past a 2g heal fully and succesfully. Past that point, ig you want a normal earlobe again, what they have to do is cut the bottom half of your stretched earlobe off, kinda fold it up, and sew it up.


On a different note, of many body modifications I want, the one I want most right now is magnetic implants. What it does is insert very small, yet powerful for their size, magnets in one, if not more, of your fingers. This enables the recepient to feel magnetic fields; but not only that, you can tell how strong the fields are, and from where exactly the field is originating from. It's almost like a superpower. One day, I will have the money to get it done. But, the other body mods I want are normal tattoos and piercings.

I'm never gonna have any peircings. A tattoo would be cool, but not a hole. I have enough holes, damnit. And if I do get a tattoo or two, I'll get eyeballs on my kneecaps and an anchor on my arm. Or maybe a butthole on the bottom of my foot.

You can't get your ears peiced with hoops. You have to get it peiced with a stud, then in about 4 months you can put hoops in.

EDIT: And at least hoops are better than gauges. In my opinion gauges look plain retarded.

it depends on what u want it pierced with (a ring will cost more) and where u get it done. but you can probs get both done for $20-£30. if you want that is. do what you want, your choice. but cartilidge piercings r better than lobes on guys me thinks. lobes take 4-6 weeks to heal n cartilidge 4-8 months. roughly, n if you keep em clean.
