I need to know how to apply griptape and on the blankdeck sturdy mold is it the longer unsteep side thats the nose or the steeper shorter side(or at least it ools that way to me?). I've never ordred from them but it seems ok.

Just take it to a skateshop and ask them to teach you how to grip your own boards, Im sure most shop guys would be cool enough to help you out.

I wouldn't be emberassed either, nobody is born with the knowledge on how to grip boards, I eventually started diong it myself and the first couple boards of mine I did were terrible, but after the 2nd or 3rd you get the hang of it (ask your friends if you can do theirs too)

Well, pretty much you peel off the back, lay it on smooth and check for air bubbles. Press it down so it's on, and go find a screwdriver and a razorblade. Pretty much you scrape out the edge of the board so that it shapes out the griptape in the shape of the board. By scraping the screwdriver around the edge of the board, it will make a white pressure line, and it'll show you where to cut with the razor blade. Get the razor blade, and make a small cut in four places on the square part of the griptape *You know, the part that is outside the little white line?*, one on the right side of the board near the nose, one on the left side near the nose, and the same for the tail *Just cut the griptape, don't cut your board =P*. Now, just shave off each section of griptape, and use the stuff you've shaved off to go over any rough spots. Have fun. It's pretty easy. Also, you can use your hardware to punch through the holes to attach your trucks.

PS. If you need any help getting griptape off, gimme a heads up. =)

My advice in picture form *Note the cheesy paint-ness.*

Its no big deal man, your just going to thrash your griptape anyway, the important thing is to make sure there are no air bubbles.
