I learned how to drop in not a too long time ago, and now I'm having a bunch of fun on halfpipes and i'm getting pretty goood. There's one problem: the closest halfpipe is about 20 miles away. I progress very fast on halfpipes, but I can almost never use any. I know some of you have halfpipes 3 minutes away, but what about the ones who are kind of in the same situation as me?
Is there a way to ,like, build a halfpipe (nah, that's impossible) or maybe buy one? what do you guys do?

Yeah I dont know how old you are, but depending on your age, you could ask your parents to let you build one in your backyard (mine said no very quickly when I was younger...and now we have a pool...with water in it)
But yeah, its definitely possible to build or buy one, I'd even go as far as asking your local skate shop to see if they have any contacts for getting one built. Otherwise just get your dad (if your young) or friends (if your older) and use plans found on the internet to build one. Im sure there are people at places like Home Depot.
Its all about how serious you are about this, you can totally make it happen.
But the only thing I can say is if your going to build one, definitely worry more about making it wide moreso then making it tall, IOW I believe a wider 4ft is a lot better to skate then a taller 6ft, you can just do a lot more with it IMO, and it gives you the nice breathing space.
