When I'm skating I get the typical response from "preps" who are driving by. Faggot, *****, bitch, bastard, f***er, woodpusher, etc. It's really starting to bother me, so I thought I'd let off some steam.

I think its fun as they walk by to just SLAM your board on the ground right near them but dont hit them.

yeah it's pretty annoying hearing rude comments by random adults walking by.

one story that is pretty funny, me and my buddy were skating downtown on the sidewalk at like 9 or whatever, trying doofy tricks that we couldnt land like nose manny pivot shuvs to manual. so this drunk lady is smoking and watching us, finally shes says "you guys arn't very good, ive got a ten year old who's better than you guys" followed by drunk blabbering that we need to skate at the "park" finally my friend says "yeah lady I think you've had too many cocktails tonight"

I don't usually get that problem becuase (I don't like using labels, but...) most of the "popular" kids in my school skate to be cool. If you're a skater, you're the top of the food chain. They don't really like it, they just want to gain popularity.

there are three skating "cliques" in my school, the popular ***** skaters (mentioned, theydont even skate) group of jerk-ass competitive skaters (Hate them, but they are the ones that are the best at skating) and the laid back kewl skaters (me my friends and a few mutual friends)

Unfortunatley my clique is the smallest but thats life

yeah at my school there are like idk maybe two or three of us who actually can skate (forget about my name i hate element) but anyways most of the "preps" or "jocks" at my school pretty much hate our guts and go out of their way just to be mean or they try to start fights. There are a lot of skaters in my town but we just are all spread out in different schools. But yeah just ignore them.

I was skating once and these kids came by in a bus and from the window one of the kids yelled "Hey, do a kickflip!" and the other kids yelled for me to do a kickflip. I was only skating for a couple months so I ignored them and rode off. People that don't skate seem to think that everyone that skates can do a kickflip.

Pretty much the same at my school. We have the nuetral skaters (My group, not to be arrogant but probably the best) The trashbag skaters that will probably live in thier parents basement until theyre 37 because they suck at life,The psycedelic pothead skaters(these dudes are pretty damn good too),The goth skaters and then the *****s who wear only DC and Etnies.

When I'm skating on the sidewalk from the skate park to burger king or something, a couple of times the rednecks (abundant in their natural habitat here in mississippi) will lean out the window and say shit like, "You guys are so cool!" or "Skaters rock!"

We have a few different groups of skaters, but they intermingle some. There aren't many *****s, but there is a small group of them. There is the redneck skater group, which is probably the largest. They are all decent. There is the out of town/professional-ish skater group, which are all really kickass and generally fit in with my group, the local non-redneck skaters. Most of the ones on my group are better than me, and better than the redneck group. The potheads are in my group, too, and they are all really good.

I live downtown and there are a lot of skatespots and I often see other skaters there filming and all, so I guess the people just pass by and are used to skateboarders going around so they don't care or are too busy going to work

The Preps are starting to follow the skating trend. They all say that they skate soooooo well, but most don't even own a ****ing skateboard!

They also make fun of me and a few friends (aka, the real skaters.) Everytime we see them, they say, "Do a freakin Mctwist. Oh, you can't? You suck ass." They also act superior. They are so stuck up.

well, i'm still in middle school so there aren't a lot of people, and i know 4 kids that really skate, probably more that arent good or wear etnies and can pop shove it at the most, 2 of these kids arent very good, and the kids i do skate with are alright, but i started wearing krew pants with my friend, and now everyone is. like, this 1 other little kid bought some off my friend, and hes good, so it looks good, but theres these other kids that like can barely do anything, and they start wearing krew pants and they just look like *****s(i'm labeling people just how ***** park likes it!) i don't really care, i mean they are just kinda making a fool of themselves. like i can just walk up to this 5 that everyone skates, a little taller than usual, it's a long island train station set, if you know how those steps are, and i can just walk up and start doing stuff like 180s over it first try, and then, like i said, there are those kids that cant even ollie the set, well, one, that wears krew. i can't imagine how badly i'm going to get flamed.

we all make fun of and label eachother. great country america isnt it.

Maybe the kids who start out and wear Kr3w wear it because they think that will make them accepted by other skaters. They don't know anything about skating, so you can't fault them. Unless they're a ***** i.e. they say they can varial kickflip when they really can't.

There are 6 people that really skate in my grade. I skate with 3 of them, and two of the three are potheads. One of them, Danny, has a friend who's sister is dating an Atlanta crimelord (supposedly). So he gets a lot of free shit.

He is obsessed with graphics, and since he likes the element logo, he bought an element deck, and he reminds me of CUTE_SK8ER a lot

my three skater buddies and I skate to a pizza shop at lunch , and there are 4 preps that walk there too , they're funny and we like them and everything. Yesterday we skated by them and they started singing "Sk8er Boy" or however you spell it , and then they were singing it in the pizza shop too:p.
