Ok, here's the deal, I'm going snowboarding for the very first time with my girlfriend in November or December, by then I'm hoping to have a few good tips to help me keep my balance and stuff and maybe 1 or 2 tricks. I already know not to fall down that's a good tip but does anybody have any real good tips to help me.

Well even with good tips, you can't really know how to ride if you never got the feeling of being on a board. One big tip should be to keep balance on your heels as much as possible when facing down the slope, and on your toe when facing up the slope. Don't even try to get on tabletops or anything during the 1st day, you'll kill yourself :). If you want any tips (on detailed problems) during the season, it'd be a pleasure to help you out.

I dont really know any tips except for just practice. You could try bombing some hills on your skateboard and loosin your trucks abit and practise carving sort of without moving your feet.Kind of like snowboarding.

Ok, nice tip I've got a huge hill but those little rocks will probably send me off the end of the cliff.
