Well tonight my mom drove me to the 3 stair, the ledge, and the 2 stair. Well i ollied all of them plus a gap off to the side of the 2 stair. Then after aprox. 100000000000000 tries i landed a kickflip off the 2. I was so drained though from skating a good part of the day. I was just like, fruck it im puting my front foot on and then i got it. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I know it's not great but for only skating 7ish months i think it's just about right.

^^^Love it, ed.
Yeah, that's how I felt when I kickflipped of the euro at Berowra. I was so determined because I kept landing one-foot only. So in the end, I landed it out of frustration.
Props!

The amount of time you've been skating means next to nothing. I commend you for your accomplishments but I could kickflip consistantly after a month of practicing it. 3 months in total of skating. My point is that you could be skating for 5 years but only have put the same amount of effort into it as someone who's skated a year. It's sketchy but I hate it when people try and brag about how good they are for how long they've been skating.

I got the 2 stair kickflips super consistant. Im gonna wake up early tommorow and go straight to the 2 stair and session it for 1-2 hours. And get home at 8 in time for breakfast. Shwank Shwank!

Geez man, don't be slack. The time you've been skating does matter to a degree. When you first step on a board, chances are you won't even be able to balance on it. The longer and longer you skate--the more years you build--the easier it becomes to just pounce on the board and roll at crazy speeds. Why? You gain CONFIDENCE. It's one of the things that come with time and practise. The more time you skate, the more confident you become. He wouldn't have had the guts to kickflip those stairs a few months ago, and now that he's done it, he's proud because he's subconsciously comparing it to the times when he couldn't do it.
If you have been "skating" for five years, and only "put in as much effort as someone whose been skating for a year" , then you haven't really been actually skating for five years, have you? You'd HAD to have stopped at some point, because otherwise if you'd been consistently skating for five years, you'd be as good as someone who has been skating for that long. Common sense.
Don't be so hard on it. People have different ways of excelling; don't put someone down because they're proud of something they did that matters to them.
