Practicing kickflipping today but i only can land my backfoot on the board, my frontfoot just lands before the board even rotates and my backfoot goes on..Is there any pointers on how to get my front foot back in time. i do the tougher kickflips where i slide my front foot up the whole nose of the board and off, i want to get that nice clean style and spin, i hate the flick shit cause i tryed that and i landed it my 10th try, ( whats the challenge in that)? So is my problem muscle memory or like do i need to lift my knees higher?

Yeah shoot your foot back onto the board. Sure it looks ugly, but once you land it a couple times you will be able to do them effortlessly. Jump higher and practice alot.

YOu're probably not tucking your legs.. When you try to jump higher, you probably will miss your flick...You're probably not landing your front foot because your hips switched positions.. Try to keep parrallel.. Kickflips are inconsitant for any skater... Don't sweat it...
