Does any one know of any good software that will edit quicktime files because windows media player files are shit quality

I'm not sure if this works for Quicktime, but iMovie is nice. Not the best, but it is REALLY easy.

you have to have a mac to get imovie. premiere compresses to quick time so does vegas i think, avid does, so does media 100.
