I was thinking, what would skating be without Alan Gelfand. Before, skating was like a razor or something, nothing too special, but Alan Gelfand made it a sport by inventing an ollie. He is my new idol, he made skating what it is today, so what are your thoughts about Alan Gelfand?

In my opinion he created skateboarding what it is today...without him we would probably have found some other way of getting into the air...but who knows maybe we would still be doing freestyle.

Ethier way someone would have figured out slaming the tail make the board pop. He figured it out first though, so he does deserve some credit.

He had to redigsn the board though to make it work, so if somebody else found out, it would have ended up different

Yeah I true...I think about what skating would be like without rodney mullen no kickflips or heelflips or basically any other trick on street.

just to be clear, he invented the ollie on transitions, not flat ground.

I was gonna say what fight! said. Rodney mullen would've still created the flat ground ollie.

^I would think somebody else, well-maybe mullen-would had invented the flat ground ollie.

But I still have more for the Z-Boys.

rodney mullen invented kikflips and heelflips based on what he knew about ollies, I dont think he would have origionally invented it

He definetely invented the flatground ollie and that's final. We had this discussion years ago.

Rodney Mullen invented a hell of a lot of stuff, he owns the new skating world still. He's 40 this year by the way.

Whenever i get to rappin rabbis posts, it takes me 10 minutes to figure out what the hell he was trying to say. Is this just me? Or is it the lack of communication skills combined with his terrible spelling that makes all his posts like a rubix cube.
