most decks has tapered tails dude. I would say about 80% of deck shapes do. Thats part of what makes a tail feel different than a nose. it is a VERY slight taper to the board, its not really something you see just looking at it, it is about .08 of an inch, if that.

haha alright here i go...
the warbird's tapered tail just gives it a different feel/pop to the deck over the logo. both decks skate great and really its just a prefrence thing of which is better. with the different pop in the decks i can do different things, some tricks are really good on the warbird whereas other tricks are really good on the logo. with the tapered tail being a little more elongated it gives it maybe a little quicker snap but then with the logo it has a little deeper concave so the flip tricks flip a little faster. they're just different shapes and they affect the performance of the deck in different ways and you just have to find out which one you like better, you can't make a bad choice with a fight! deck tho, you'll love either one. pick one, try it out, skate, be happy! :-1:

Ugh tapered boards are annoying in one sense, but okay in the other. I've never skated a Fight! Because of the whole living in Australia thing, but my current board is a Girl that I got discounted ($30 from $120) from the skate shop, and it's tapered. I just...they feel weird because I have to be aware of what is the nose and tail. I can't just skate it whichever way, because it's different.

I've seen some boards with a tapered tail that are REALLY SMALL and look like it would be kinda hard to keep on the tail.

^nah they're not hard to stay on or anything like that. i never really liked tapered tails that much but i'm liking the warbird, its just i dunno shaped better. and cryptic girl boards have a very mellow concave so don't blame it all the tail, i don't really like riding girl decks just because of that. also even if the deck doesn't have a tapered tail that doesn't mean its the same way nose and tail, theres still a difference in how the nose is shaped.
