I have been having trouble with these. I have nollie shuvits, pop-shuvits, and 360 shuvits, so I started working on nollie flips, mostly kickflips.
I cannot get the whole flip. I flick as hard as I can, and it won't flip. Sometimes, It won't flip it at all.
Any help?

How can you flick as hard as you can and it won't flip? Thats physically impossible.
Make sure you weight is still in your normal skating position not reversed like switch. Always pratice switch flips with nollie flips.
Thats all the advice I got,

Try nollie tricks on a slope, you and the nose facing it foward.
If you're kicking it hard as possible and it's still not flipping, it's probably because you're flicking the in the wrong place, you're not popping hard enough, or your leaning to much foward.

Not if I flick in the wrong spot, like China Skate said.

Then hit it in the right spot. It will be an auqward(spelled wrong) position at first but u get used 2 it.

*Awkward
The place you flick the board won't feel awkward, the pop + slide will.

they're the same as regular, just you need to learn it all over again. practice practice practice. try them switch first, i found it a little easier to learn them switch before nollie.

Yes, practice it over and over, it's like learning the trick all over again. Except harder.

It's mainly muscle memory, if you keep practicing it, getting used to the flip, staying over it, then it will come. I am personally working on them at the minute, and they're getting a tad easier to get the flip, but not that much. Keep tryin' them, man.

actually i think switch tricks are easier to learn, you already know how to do them (most of the time) so then you can teach yourself what to do switch and you already know some tricks and tips that may have helped you learn them regular.

Yeah switch tricks came pretty easy to me. Heelflip tricks came really easy for me. I also found alot of nollie easier than switch, but it is really all the feel for you. Just what I was used to first. Just get used to the opposite pop and the flick. Remember not to flick straight down and get a nice side flick off the toe. Also bring your legs up high as you can because that still ****s me up when I do switch; sometimes I forget to jump with the pop.

Learn switcth flips and nollie heels first, theyre much easier.
Also rember to drag you foot up before flicking off.
