Is snowskating pretty much the same thing as skating on snow? Could you do pretty much the same tricks? How much is a snowskate?

It's different, you'll have to just try it. $40 for plastic ones and $80 for wood ones (from Premier, which is a good company).

If you ever tried, it's a totally different feel than compared to skating.

Get a snowskate that looks like a skateboard deck but with a little higher tail and nose. Don't get the kind that's has a bottom ski and a top one... those suck. Get a premier or something, because they are hard to break and you will have lots of fun if you get quite a bit of snow. It's exactly like skating on a deck without trucks or wheels.
