positioning your feet

say you were just skating and your feet were over the trucks not on the tail or nose and you need to ollie is it better/easier to shuffle your feet or is there another better way

Just shuffle/lift and drop them into position, thats all there is to it.

I put my front foot a bit behind my front bolts, and my back foot a little behind my back bolts. Just jump a tiny bit and land in the position you want. You can reposition your feet when you get there though.
