1. it could be that your wheels are landing on the obstacle instead of your tail
2. try to not ollie that much over the obstacle, like kinda have your body leaning away from the obstacle, while you slide it

i'm glad to hear that.

well, it could be that you aren't doing a full 90 or more rotation when you get on. what i'm trying to say is, if you're tail isn't perpendicular on the obstacle, or more, you aren't going to get a good slide. it's like you kinda have to lean back, but not too much so you fall back. usually, when i do tailslides(i've been practicing on curbs), my truck isnt even touching. i always try to lock in like that, but for some reason, literally, only my tail hits, and it doesn't matter if it is completely locked in or not, i mean, it's a TAILslide, not a LOCK-INslide. lol.

sounds like you have to much pressure on the tail or not enough ..... ussaully happens on my noseslides

What Dookie said. I find it helps to not do a total 90 degree rotation, usaully if you do you end up flying or doing a stall. Try doing a slightly less tahn 90 degree spin, it helps get you sliding. And don't lock in all the way, I finds it just messes you up.
