My 9 year old son has been skating for about a year and he's getting pretty good. He bought a World Industries complete about 2 months ago and it got stolen last week.
As you can imagine he's pretty upset, which leads me to my question... I found a used board in a local classified paper, it's a Vision pro re-issue with Indy Trucks, Creeper wheels and abex 5 bearings. The board appears to be in excellent condition, the guy wants $100 cdn for it and he says it was worth $200 cdn when new.
I know absolutely nothing about boarding, but Im learning fast, so if anyone could offer their opinion on this package and the price, I would appreciate it.
BTW I live in the Toronto area, are there any good places to shop for boards (new or used) in my area?

first off, if possible, post pics.

my board was a tony hawk falcon 3, i think indy trucks, birdhouse wheels, black panther bearings, black magic grip, shorty's hardware, i think maybe $120 off ccs, but like i said, post pics.

I got my first complete for 128, (CND money not U.S) and 100$ for a used complete? jsut buy a new complete for about 30$ more, its worth it. I dont like buying used decks, some might have water damage in the core, or the wheels might be cracked, or there might be alotta preassure cracks or w/e the problem may be

o ya good skate shops in Toronto are W49 and Alcatraz and Scotties

actually, if graphics aren't a problem with your son, you can get a $50 blank deck complete off www.blankdecks.com. blank deck, blank trucks, blank wheels, abec-3 blank bearings i think, some hardware, grits griptape. if that fails, you can get an upgraded blank complete for $80 with an option of brand name trucks, wheels, bearings, and grip.

I would just forget it and go to your local skateshop and buy a blank complete for around $60-80..
