Are you trying to have fun skating? Or go pro?

It doesn't matter how good you are, as long as you are having fun.

you can boardslide and drop-in, you just have to try them. both are fairly simple, depending on how big the obstacle is.

Boardsliding and dropping in is all mental.

you, shouldent quit, but get off your ass and go skate, you arent goin to learn much by reading trick tips, all they do is give you a basic idea, like footing,go out and practice, until you get perfection.and after its perfect, take it off the set.

That's not bad for 1 1/2 months. You live in Niagara Falls? I was just there the other day. That's pretty close to here.

I need help on my boardslide as well. I get on the rail and everything but when I'm actually going down it, I fall off. I can't balance well enough. I practice my boardslides everyday, though. China Skater, you are a cool guy. Nice to meet you.

ok, well if u can find a low rail thats even (not slanted) than just put ur board on there and hop on, dont actualy grind it, just stay stationary and practise your balance

first of all, i was'nt bashing him, i was making it a point that he should go out and skate, and the reason i sed "all it does is help you with footing"is because it does, go look at a trick tip and tell me that every one doesnt...

ur decent also, dropping in is all in the head if ur really scared ur proboly not gonna be able to do it too well but if u put ur fear behind u and do it chances are ull ride away clean just remeber slam down on front. boardslides are a little harder and im not too great the them so dont be bumed u cant do em, i can only do em on really low rails haha, neway just keep trying.

For dropping in...

step 1: put on some pads
step 2: drop in
step 3: if you fell in step 2, redo steps 2-3
step 4: congratulations

dude skating is fun once you get past a few tricks and get familiar, you dont even have to be able to varial, as long as you got a grin on your face after you pop and ollie or land that kickflip or finally land that 7 stair, it is definitley worth it

if you even think about quitting just watch some skate videos, Transworlds' First Love really kept me goin, its just a really powerful and different skate video

**** it all and keep skating bro
