1 and 1/2 kickflip

Ok. I can ollie 3 decks and been practicen kick flipin for a while i got good and know i kick flip and a half. I can double kickflip and kinda land it wit 1 foot but i cant get just 1 flip. I can varial flip just fine. I just cant get 1 flip in a kickflip ...........any tips

I'm not sure what you just said.

Don't flip as hard. Try moving your front foot toward the nose a little more before kickflipping. Or just try to catch the board in the air with your feet as soon as it's done flipping.

You could be scared to land. If you land it with one foot, try landing it with the other foot. Just fall on the board.

i was scared (even though i felt like i wasnt) in the beggining. But i land with both feet but on the wrong side. Its not that im kicking to lightly cause im doing a full flip , the problem is im king to hard. Im landing on the kickflip after its flips once, i just catch it after it does a full flip and then a half. I just cant flick it lightly, i always land the same way.

Then just do a double kickflip. If you can do that easier then a normal kick your like me. :)

You can catch them in the air, it's usually what I do when I flick mine fast.

I got it! Im startin to catch and stop the board in the air....except i realized that my brain is a little scared cause my back foot is landing on the ground. thx now i can just try to land with both feet

My problem was that I always landed on the side, along with your problem. I just kicked to the right (i'm goofy) alot more, and it just came in time.

you have the exact problem as me...i can varial flip easily but when it comes to kickflips i always over flip em and sometimes land double but mostly 1 and 1/2 . i ve been practicing catching them in the air but i dont know. the oens i land right are really so small they look stupid. theyre like an inch off the ground. im not sureeeeeeeeeeeeeee
