hey quick question i got this camera from my mom but it doesnt plug into the computer any ways i could get the footy onto the computer?

Why doesnt it plug in? Is there no USB cord? You can pick one up at a computer store for cheap.

You can buy a cable at any online or local. Just take the camera and they will find you one.

It doesnt have a plug for your computer because its HI8. Go down to your local computer store and buy a capture card. It plugs into your computer and it has the A/V cables (red,white,yellow) and you plug it in like your computer was a tv and it should come with a capture program and you go into play mode on your camera run the capture program rewind to wherever you want to start capturing press play and it will capture your footy then you should use some editing software to add songs, effects, cut footy out etc etc... and there you go.

or you can buy an external capture device such as ... pinnacle dazzle. those work well i guess.
