hey guys, a few questions:
Where do you get shoe goo?
Does it work on laces and do you just slather it on?
If I for some reason can't get my hands on any, will rubber cement work?
thanks.:D

Pretty much yes to the last two. Order online, Ebay has excellent deals.

Depends. I'll put it on shoes after I have skated them like 2 or 3 times depending one the shoe. You can pretty much get it at any hardware store or drugstore for 5-10$. Yes you can put it on shoe laces, and rubber cement might work. Never attmpetd it, might make you tripp though. Hot glue works too. Some shoes ill put some superglue on the stitching before I start skating them and it will make them last longer and re-apply it after it wears away. Really all depending on how fast you go through shoes should you put goo on before you skate them. Ill go through a pair within a week unless I superglue the stitching or add the shoe goo.

i use it, i wait until my shoe is starting to rip, and then just spread some on. works good.

Do you super glue the whole toe cap? Because thats really ugly. Even uglier than shoe goo. Most super glue dries quickly

nah...i just glue the part thats ripped to the part it came off. like when the stichings gone i just glue the part that was stitched.

Ok cool..I'll probably pick up some shoe goo, until then, rubber cement it is.
BTW: My mom hates ordering online so where can I get shoe goo (as in a store)
Target, Linens 'n' Things (<- My moms suggestion) etc?

Shoe goo is the shit!!!!!!!!!! There is no proper way to put it on. Take a popsicle stick or something and glaze the area of your shoe you want protected. Then leave it chillin over night. Its that easy. Just try not to breath in the fumes. I always use shoe goo..

I just glob it on. Then when I skate, the impurities are smoothed away in an instant.

Lol, I'd rather never be able to see the actual suede anymore than to have them wear out. :D:D
Thanks again guys.

they sell it at wal-mart, thats where i get mine. its like 4 bucks. it works really well. i got a pair of osiris forte's and the stitching ripped in a day so i got some of this and they have lasted for about 2-3 months. u cant even tell i used it.

I just use Crazy Glue
this works great too. especially on suede shoes.
it makes a hard toecap that feels really good its a cheap alternative as a 99cent tube of krazy glue can easily cover 1 shoe's toe cap.
