Im tired of this issue!

OK! Heres the thing that pisses me off! Ive been skating for a number of years and I always heard s*it like "Ure STUFF SUX!" or "URE GAY FOR BUYING THAT DECK!" You guys know where I'm getting at right? I mean the person hearing that can get really offended and just poo all over his decisions.
For Example! A friend of mine bought some Osiris shoes and this gay kid goes up to him and says they suck... It turns out they were real good but before we could find out, he gave em away! He was really bitter for a while.
See what I mean? The sport of skateboarding has lost some of its flavor because of what some *****s said about something they never used! Skateboarding is all about your own style and how you go about doing it! IT doesn't matter how bad you are, or what you use! That REALLY pisses me off! When someone disses someone else's style! There's this REALLY AWESOME skater named Zac who has been skating for 13 years. He tries to get sponsored by this one skate shop but they refuse him because he "lacks" style! I mean he has the best skate style i've EVER seen and he can OUT-SKATE EVRY1 on that skate team! What I'm suggesting is that skating will be much better off without all that "unistyle" crap. You DO realize "unistyle" is how preps think right? "Oh look! Jenny has some Nikes! I wanna get some!" Skating is all about personal preference! Thats what gives it that unique flavor! Don't take that away by making fun of someone's style...

I'm saying this because I have seen some of you guys in here act that way and I wanted to get it off my chest.

To all the skaters with their own style, rock on and skate forever!

Yea thats very true....who cares what your style is like.Look at Matt mumfords arms in the air.There all over the place but thats no reason to say hes gay or his style is gay.Its what ever works for you is what you want.Dont go around tryin to copy peoples styles.

I couldn't have said anything in their better myself. Thank you for bringing this up. People always ask me why I'm so big into skateboarding but don't drown myself in skateboard brand clothing, or why whenever I go off a jump in snowboard my right hand goes up in the air like I have a question to ask a teacher. What you do to land a trick, or to practice a trick, and how your arms and legs move...if it works for you don't try to change it. Sure when you learn the trick more maybe you won't throw your arms so far out to the side...but right now it's working, and it's getting you to land that stupid trick so just forget about the person telling you your style sucks.
I think it's funny you brought up the whole point of girls always trying to be like one another...and that goes hand in hand with girls never wanting to be alone, or do things by themselves. I was sitting at lunch today and my friend who try's to be all hardcore and skateboard and snowboard and wear the clothes and everything...she wouldn't go and stand in the lunch line alone...she wanted someone to talk to. Sure, we all want someone to go talk to once in awhile...but she didn't get her lunch because nobody would go stand with her (we all already had lunch). I've noticed that so much lately how no girl ever wants to be away from her friends. Sure, the optomistic person may look at this and say "Well, she loves her friends dearly and doesn't want to miss a second of being with them." uh huh. Or maybe it's just because alot of girls are insecure, and think they look "cooler" hanging out with people instead of alone.

Going back on topic though...don't believe in what other people say about you, whether it's the shirt your wearing, or something you believe strongly in...what you think about yourself is the truth!

some people make fun of the way i do my kickflips cuz i raise my arms like im flying and wave em when i land and u know what? they cant even do kickflips! theres two types of skaters, those who respect and TRY to learn and those that just stand there and act like they know stuff. I agree with evry1 here and I have two words for these hardcore skaters: Skate Forever~!

Yeah I know I asked to be sponsored like 3 years ago and the guy refused because he said we dont like skaters that skate mongo. I dont care. Tom Penny pushes mongo and so does Josh Kasper. That sucks cock. Back when I had a camcorder I filmed my best shit. A heelflip down a 5 set, a 360 flip,fs flip over a gap,and the best one my first handrail(a small one of course). It pissed me off because I bought all of my shit from that shop since I was really little. Then they just blow me off. I've spent at least AT LEAST two grand there. Then the next day "Zac we never knew you pushed mongo" I mean they saw me skate before and then they lie like that.
