so ya this mornin I went out and bought a pair of these, they feel so nice to hold, like if you carry your deck by the trux. they grind superbly, its like your on Ice, the velvet does carve right off though where it grinds, but the stuff they used to apply the velvet stays on, so it grinds smoothly for a good bit of time. The velvet does not fall off either, Velvet is put on like paint, so its not a cloth wrapped around the truck, so it wont all fall off once its grinded on the bottom. they look kind of ugly after a few grindings, but who cares about looks of a truck right? its how it grinds and rides...Riding wise they have descent response, there not good for like sharp turns and that, switch the bushings with thunder bushings if you can. They seem really strong, most krux are though, and the king pin sits really low.

Over all these trucks are excellent, and the velvet just makes them that much better 9.5/10

If the velvet comes off where you grind, it's no different than regular Krux except for the first few grinds.
