the only cameras that are under 300 are peices of crap. unless you got one used on ebay or on some really super sale or something.

Dont get that one if youre buying from bestbuy the only two that I know take good quality video and are in youre price range is the canon elura 100 and the sony hc 36 and theyre both 400. theyre pretty much the same camera but the sony has a touch screen.

also buy from BH... its cheaper heres the same camera $50 less. personally i would buy sony, canon, panasonic, and maybe jvc idk.

Not true AT ALL. So many people think that just because a camera isnt a 3 chip means its crap.

The optura 10/20, you can get it under 200 dollars easy used, it can compete with low end 3 CCD cams.

same here ... i dont really like the lower end sony cams ethier. their more geared for a family camera, canon only has a couple ok cameras too. my panny is a three chip, it shows.

I think my next cam will be the panny gs 500. o and firefreek the optura ten isnt the best 1 chip its very overrated the optura xi kicks the crap out of the 10.

yeah... the panny 5 has manual focus and 4mp camera (not like it matters) but other than that when i bought mine i dont remember much diff. my uncle has it, thats what made me get a panny. just get it from bh its like $200 cheaper thans cuircut city or best buy.
