Alright i'm looking for a decent quality video camera for Ramprage. I'm clueless about high quality vid cams but I've generally heard the idea that these two are good

Sony Vx2000
Canon GL2

I'm looking on Ebay for one of these, or if you have any recommendations it would be nice: EG: what it should include, what to watch out for.

PS I'm located in Canada so for ebay.com they must ship to Canada...

Example one I found.

Steve, that VX2000 you found is a pretty good deal already. From what I can see and from using both of them, I like the VX2000 better than the VX2100. And I always prefer Sony over Canon.

these are the cams you should stick with:

Vx1000, doesn't have a LCD.
Vx2000
vx2100
GL2 if you find a really good deal.

gl2 is worse than any of the vxs...canons camcorders have really shitty lighting in the dark

you dont know much about cameras do you^? canons are just as good as sonys, the only thing is that you have to change the settings drastically to make them look, and any video camera in the dark, wont be able to record anything but black. so think about it, no matter who you are you most likely would buy a light filming in low lighting,
Steve that vx2k auction is a good deal, deffintaly go for it.

Well im guessing this would be your first camera sop if you want a high quality camera i suggest a one chip because you seem new to cameras a great 1 chip is the canon optura xi its really good it competes with lower end 3 chips. so i would look at that.
