Hey RR. I know there's another thread about getting sponsored, but.... Whats the main thing you need to get sponsored? I think i might try to get hooked up with my local shop. I'm very could friends with all of the workers and the owner. I can'y tre flip, or do handrails( We'll, I might try one). But I kickflip sets and drops. And I have style. I will post a video later on some good lines I have. Also I can do alot of flip tricks and I can do very huge sets. Also I learn tricks very fast. So, what are sponsors most aware about?

Help would help me so much!

Peace.

if you cant tre or handrail then your def not gonna get into a sponser, doesnt matter if you like kickflip a ten set, those are the buttery smooth tricks that you gotta know in order to get sponsered

You need to know your switch, in and out. Same goes for the more tech tricks. There wanna see flips in and out and little things that add more style, little reverts and tweaks.

There's no set tricks you need in order to get a sponsor. It all depends on the particular company's taste in skaters.

Well there's another shop in town that wants a young rider. And this shop isn't picky about how good you are. Also my friend is sponsored by them and he will def get me on the team! and man am i stoked!

You're an idiot.

Anyways, try and get in your full bag-o-tricks in the video, and make sure they are clean and constant. Just do everything you can, and send in a sponser me tape. Worst thing that can happen is they say no.

If i was going to sponsor someone, they would have to skate alot so people see them skating, have a video camera and be able to send footage, and my favorite thing to watch personally is huge ass sets. So if any sponsors are like me, you shouldn't have too much trouble. But in the meantime, learn to 3 flip.

You're clearly the idiot. You're the one who realized your comment was stupid so you played it off like it was a joke?

you probally can get sponsored.

a few people on my local shop. while kinda like this.

one kid cant even kickflip or do fliptrick at all but he can do any kind of grind switched nollie or whatever. like a nollie noseblunt.

one kid is on it becuase he can bluntslide a 7 stair handrail.

another kid hes one becuase on his sponsor me video it had a 360 flip to a tailslide on a ledge.

another kid has a 360 flip to a nose manaul across this long curb.

theres usually a resoin why some people get sponsored and why.

Snakers the man. He's right.

Blueprint is all about style, Baker has a lot of "Hammers", Girl seems to have a lot of Tech stuff.

Just, skate for fun, don't worry about it.

learn your regular tricks switch, and you need good style, no one wants you to ride for them if your skating looks loke crap, no matter what tricks you can do

the key thing is your creativity. if you're skating a slanted manny pad, maybe go up the pad, grind the top, and go down, all in one combo, or, maybe if you are skating a set with a handrail smack in the middle, do something over the handrail instead of over just the set, get what i'm saying?
