I wanna get started making vids cuz i finaly realized i cant sk8 to great so i was just wondering what i need to do and what i need to get started???

Well first youre going to need a camera i suggest the canon elura 100 i own it and ican produce some pretty good colors with it.
2nd u need editing software if you have windows xp u have windows movie maker or if you have a mac its imovie but if ur running an older version of windows you would have to purchase some software
3rd you need a firewire to transfer footage to your computer you might have a firewire port but if not you could buy a pci card.
4th (optional) youll need to get a fisheye i would suggest the kenko sgw043 ive got it and its very wide
5th (optional you should make a handle ive made a thread on how tos so check it out.

umm im not gunnna list cameras again iv done it way to many times check other threads

how can you start? buy changing your user name. and yeah chill out on the elura anybody can get semi-decent colors if they white balance. and yeah im sick of posting hopless's list of cams just read other threads thats what thier here for!

Get a cheap digital camcorder from ebay and start there. Definitly video tape a lot cause it's funny to look back when u sucked :-D

i wouldnt buy a canon, get a sony, the trv 18 is an AMAZING camera to start with or even the vx700, which is completely manual, same as the vx1k minus the handle and 3 chips in it

manual controls are confusing to novice filmers... espically when you names sillyrabbii... i support the idea of a trv18
