No, seriously though, I'm trading my camera to a pawn shop, I should be looking at 200-250 quid to spend on a new camera plus I could scavenge another 100, so the jig is...

The best camera for a 300-350 quid price range. This is because mine is doing not so good now.

Make sure it is fisheye compatible, mainly looking for camera whiz' like Casanova for help!

Cheers, Jonny.

I just got my Panasonic gs-150, with kenko sgw-043 fisheye in the mail yesterday and im happy with it so far for my first real camera. i dropped just a little less that $300 for the cam, battery, charger, firewire card and cable, and lense. probably stolen, but looks and acts brand new. ebay is the shit.

Thanks but I'm a UK citizen. Ah well, looks sweet as well. eBay isn't my scene and my dad hates ordering.

Although 80 bucks for a 3CCD camera sounds like a damn good deal, for 80 bucks on eBay wasn't that good a deal. All it had was the camera, no batterys on anything. It's still cheap if like you had the camera previosly and it broke, but other than that i wouldnt buy it. Although 80 bucks for a 3CCD camera sounds like a damn good deal

It IS a good deal, as long as you dont mind placing a few different orders. I got everything you need for that camera to be fully functional, and a lense for less than 300, when new (unused), it would run you somewhere in the 500 range.

aight ... how much is "quid" worth? that would help out? any camera is fisheye compatable .... step-up/down rings anybody? and $80 FOR A GS-150!!! i threw down about 600 for mine! but the heads are probably trashed and idk its hard to believe.

The auction i bought mine in ended at $177, and even though it didnt come with anything, (box, manual, battery) the camera itself looked brand new, with stickers and tags all still attached and in perfect condition. I just assumed it was stolen, which doesnt bother me one bit.

well the way your discribing it sounds like it was just stolen and then stripped till the camera was the only thing left... thyat sounds risky if your new to filming becuase you won't have the cables or battery or charger. leaving you to find evreything on your own... i mean if you have reall knowledge of camera stuff like very few of you do.. and enough money to get the things needed to just have it turn on its a nice deal.. on the other hand for mainly evryone i would just recomend looking for a new camera that has a more legit feeling dealer. ebay is defently a way to get a new camera but is also a way to get ripped out of hundreds of dollars... bid wise

oh and crazy dave thanks for not even recognizing me as a filmer at all!:)

I bought my camera on eBay. It's a Canon MV200 (I think), it cost £189 and all it came with was a battery. I had to buy a charger and a memory stick (for photos) separatly but it still only came to £210, which is about half the price it is in shops.
