I know i posted it in the begginer section, but i figure some of the people browsing this section might know a little more about the subject.

2. My friend has a board with a design spray-painted on the griptape. seeing as i've got a bit of an artistic streak myself, i was considering making a stencil and spraypainting a design of my own onto the board. Could this possibly affect the performance of the griptape? If not does anyone know the best type of spraypaint to use, prefereably something non-toxic that won't rub off on my hands after it's dry and that would last for a while?

also, what material do people often use for stencils? cardboard, paper, etc?

cardboard, the paint would soak through paper

I use this plastic stuff.

But out of those, cardboard is your best choice.

What kind of plastic? i'm interested. so long as i can get my hands on it, i'm fine.

also, i still have no idea about what kind of paint to use.

Oh, and another thing, Is there a good way to ct out a stencil with curves in it? maybe there's a tutorial or something somewhere.
thanks again.

my deck has a fallen sign on da tail and a 16 box ckeckered in da center of da board.... u can make stenicils outta paper or cardboard or any bendable plastic really... i don't think paint shud really soak through da paper though...-i used paper.... just make sure that wen u do spray paint-(spray paint is usually da best 2).... that u spray rite above ur stencil cause if u tilt da can, u can cause da paint 2 go into places below ur stencil...-nd ill bet u wudn't want that 2 happen...-good luckk.,..
