Black Skaters..

but, ever since Pharrell came out with his ice cream skate team.
I've noticed the black kids at my school all started bringing skateboards to school and tryin to skate.
When i go to their myspace's though they have the Ice Cream crap everywhere.
anyone noticed this from your neighborhood?

theres alot of black people around where i live, theres actually a gangsta' neighborhood right next to mine. i dont know any blacks that skate and it doesnt bother me, black people do things they like to do, just as white people do, but yes i understand how some can be *****s

i'm a black skater and i started skating a couple a years ago before the ice creams and kick push video lol. but i don't think its a fair statement to make that most black skaters started as a result of pharell ect. although many of them probably did. theres still a lot of us out there that skate cause we love it.

Dude lets no start a beef between races on rr. Alright i dont really know but one of my best friends that skates is black and has been for 3 years and he's hesh not fresh. Like cords and rock shirts but i dont push shit on anybody and pharell didnt either. People do what they do so there is no point in saying it's pharells fault. It just happened as a result of him starting his company. But then again im on nobody's side becuse nobody is on mine.

That's not skinny as shit. 160 and 5"11 is really not slim...and the last time he measured his weight was...a month and a half ago maybe. I know I'm skinny as shit, I know that. But if you saw him in person you wouldn't think he's skinny.

EDIT: The reason heads turn (exaggerated, but people at our school think it's pretty funny) is because we're such an odd couple. There are black people at our school, but they're all "gangster", the asians at my school are all preps. So we really stand out.

Black people arent skating, because of Ice Cream. I always thought it was DGK and kayo who influenced the gangster skaters.

But i could be wrong, considering Ice cream is more mainstream with Pharrell.
