Can anyone tell what the quality of this is... i have done some research and the lowest price i could get is 290. I am just confirming that it is:
Mini DV
Fish Eye/Lense Compatable
and an overal decent-good camera and can upload with firewire
also if anyone could give me more background info. thanks

This camera is a great 1 ccd cam from what I hear, so if you have the money I'd go for it.

I'm using an Optura 50 with some 50 dollar garbage .43x eBay fisheye. It works pretty well, but I get some nasty vignetting. I think it's the adapter ring...picture quality is very good if you mess with the white balance (auto sucks). Night filming quality blows, so get some lights for sure.

um almost all one chips have terrible night..... the elura 100 has 1.33 like almost all the one chips. its not a veyr good camera though. im warning you
j
vc grdv 800u is a greatttt one chip it has better day quality then the optura 10/20 and boasts a staggering 540 line of resoultion and a super high band processor. but it has a 52mm lens..
the optura 20 is the most optional of the one chips(37mm lens) and has great night so your choice

the adapter is probably gigantic. buy a smaller step up.

It's when I don't use the macro, so yeah there's gonna be some big-time vig. Otherwise I can just zoom in a bit but it isn't as clear as with the macro in.

well keep the macro on for quality reasons... and vignetting is not always good it makes thing look less professional.. *cept for those very small even corners)

one more question if you have both an optura 10 and elura 100 which one would you use

Well it reallly depends i dont think the optura 10 is that great ive gotten my colors to compare with an optura 10 so i really dont think theres much of a difference most people with optura 10s have shitty colors becuase they dont know how to use it.

optura 10's/20's are better then the elura 100 becuase they have more manual settings... and a light
